The hair on the back of your head is the lowest part, so when it grows out it looks longer (even if the actual hairs are the same length as those in front).

Just keep getting the mullety part cut in the back, but don't cut the front parts. Eventually it will even out.

Please don't keep the mullet.

Oh, and despite what other people may say, there is nothing you can do to make your hair grow faster. It grows about 1/2 inch per month and anybody who thinks they know how to make it faster are just repeating old wives tales.

You should wait until it gets a little longer. You might think this is crazy%26gt;but it works. If you want your hair to grow longer a little faster...everyday flip your hair upside down everyday for 2-3 weeks so that the roots pull a little. It doesn't harm your hair-trust me. Also...it actually grows faster when you get a little trim every 6-8 weeks. Lastly...when you take a shower...instead of just making the shampoo a thick lather...message it into your skin.

Totally normal to have a bad case of helmet hair or a mullet. I grew my hair out for 2 years. To be honest the first year was full of some crazy hair styles then I could do the pony tail. Which got boring quick.

Anyway once my hair was about 4 inches I liked to get one of those large rubber band hair things and put it around my head to pull the hair away from my face and let it hang loose in the back.
