My hair used to be freakin LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG. Like, below the butt. I would put hair oil in it every day (Parachute is good), i wore it in a braid EVERY DAY (I think this was key), and I brushed it a LOT every day. The braiding makes it virtually tangle-less, so the brushing actually does more good than harm. It stimulates the scalp, so it grows more hair. Also, keep split ends trimmed - it's important, so it doesnt break. If you have split ends and it still gets long by some miracle, it'll be really thick at the top, and really thin at the bottom - and who wants THAT? It shouldnt take that long

indian girls are basically asian, if u are talking about people from india, and native american originated from asia

asians have the strongest hair type, so there is less breakage so they are able to grow their hair long without a problem. if u notice i have seen some with long *** hair. black people have the weakest so our hair has more breakage in result it seems as if we cant get long hair and its like our hair dont grow.

white people are in between, if u want long hair, keep your split ends cut. trim them every 6 to 12 weeks, since u guys can keep more hair growth i say every 8 weeks, i get mine every 10 weeks, also take care of the ends. keep them more mosturized, flat irons chew the ends of them, so i keep extra stuff on them. also ive learned that if u guys flat iron your hair everyday, that u shouldnt wash it every day, it dries it out and that is what creates breakage.

there is this stuff called citre shine, u can get it at walgreens, it is for white people and i use it, it makes my hair shiny and helps with split ends. hope i helped

Everyone's hair grows at a different rate. I would think you do an occasional trim to spur the growth, but otherwise, no big cuts, and you should be there in no time.

Well I'm black half Indian and my hair is pretty long...if you braid it at night and keep it moisturized it will grow as long as you let it. For the person who said that black people have weak hair is a lie..you have to know how to take care of it! And you can't put cheap products in it...cause I know my hair ain't weak!
