my hair has always been at my shoulders or shorter and wouldn't ever get longer. once i started to stopped using heat completely , protect my hair from rubbing against my clothes ,deep conditioning regularly,moisturizing more often and stopped using shampoo and wash hair with conditioner only my hair grew to near my bra clasp in a few months but i had a coloring incident where i had to cut it off. but now its growing back nicely. it is now healthy AND long. im trying to grow it to my tail bone now :oD first focus on health and length follows. taking vitamins helps. and you dont need to trim that often if you keep ends moisturized dont use alot of heat and keep it from brush on your clothes. you may only want to trim twice a year just to even it up. trimming to often just cuts off progress.
