I want to grow my hair down to the middle of my back...any suggestions?

my hair is about 5 in past my shoulders now, and I want it to grow down to the middle of my back.

I'm a stay at home mom, so I dont blow dry or straighten it everyday just on the weekends, if we go out. I use professional shampoo and condition, I wash my hair every other day. I havent dyed it in over a year.

any advice....tips....what not to do.....what to do.....

I've always been able to grow my hair long (I'm 39), but until recently I have not been able to get it past my waist unless I never coloured or permed it.

But in the past two years I've been using a shampoo and conditioner that contain seabuckthorn oil, which heals skin and hair follicles. My hair is now down about two inches past my waist, for the first time ever, and I also have lots of blonde streaks in my hair.

brush it alot, just not when its wet. WHen it is wet you should comb it or more hair comes out. Also get it trimmed semi often, its grows faster.

Try not brushing it as often. Brushing it give you split ends and that means you have to go back sooner to get your hair trimmed. Otherwise it sounds like you'll be alright.

There is a shampoo that you can buy at Sally Beauty Supply that is suppose to make your hair grow longer I don't know if it works but its worth a try, also I find that the less I wash my hair the longer it grows. Maybe even try taking a multi-vitimini which will help. Good Luck.
