i would like to grow my hair out not like a girls, but kida shaggy and i have no idea how to do it. when i have tried it got too thick and looked bad. how would i be able to grow it out with out it getting too thick and still look good?

whenever i grow my hair out i get trims every few weeks just to cut the dead ends alot of times getting your hair trimed a little can help keep it looking nice but if your hair still looks too thick it might not be meant to be. Your hair is either thick or thin you cant really change that

Wash it a bunch, and goto a salon or something and like...ask them what to do, maybe get your hair thinned when it gets too thick..

maybe in patches so it doesn't look so thick, but it would require a lot maintenance. but consider this that long hair is for losers that will go bald, so why even bother, you probably look good with short hair

Just don't cut it! I grew mines out in about a year. I took some pictures a year ago, and compared to today, there's a BIG difference. My hair was really short a year ago, and now, it looks just like my avatar (with much less curls).

If your hair is thick, it is going to stay thick. My hair is thick to. You can go to a salon and have them thinnen it out. Lots of girls do that. I am not sure how it works, but it get's done. Make sure you wash your hair everyother day. It is not healthy to wash your hair every day. And trim it every month to get all the split ends off. No more than a half an inch. They also have shampoo and conditioner that help your hair grow long .

guys hair grown out tends to be thin (I have a guy friend whose hair is now past his shoulders) personally i don't like it that long and you can always get it thinned. :)
